What is Cyclohexanol? It is a colourless liquid with a camphor-like odour and is produced by the oxidation of cyclohexane in air, usually using cobalt crystals. Cyclohexanol (chemical formula C6H12O) is also known by other names such as cyclohexyl alcohol, hexahydrophenol, and hydroxycyclohexane.
